-Hossa became the 80th player in NHL history to reach 1,000 points with a goal and an assist Thursday, helping the Blackhawks to a 5-4 shootout win against the Ottawa Senators at Canadian Tire Centre

OVERALL
The Hawks are doing alright.  They have 13 points in a possible 20.  The past 6 games they have played every other night and will continue the next 3.  It's only the beginning of the season and they have a ways to go but somebody needs to get them crackin' on the power play.  Once in a while I wish they could decline it but hopefully it will turn around as the season comes along.  Well till next time Hawks fans.  As always GO HAWKS! :o)
